Welcome to Waukesha ForwardWe are a group of concerned residents who live in the Waukesha area.We want to make a difference by improving the quality of life in the community. Our goal is to engage the community in a dialogue on issues of importance. We seek to be a conduit for factual information and a forum for education on the issues. The most pressing issue currently facing the community is the mounting funding crisis in the Waukesha School District. A viable public school system is a key component of a strong and vibrant community. Waukesha has long been known as a community with an excellent public school system. The Waukesha School District has been making significant budget cuts over the last several years. As a community we need to ask ourselves: what actions need to be taken to assure the continued viability of the public school system in Waukesha and the surrounding communities?
